Prada is huge this season! Their Spring/Summer 2012 collection was totally cute and kept me smiling for days. The mood of the collection was inspired by the 50’s Rock and Roll music and cars. Since Miuccia Prada did Elvis Presley for her S/S 2012 Menswear Collection, she did Marilyn Monroe for her S/S 2012 Women’s wear Collection. The collection includes Marilyn Monroe’s iconic “Seven Year Itch” dresses and is probably inspired by Michelle William’s “My Week with Marilyn” movie.

Accessories were dope! Were all inspired by the cars, see the 'back lamp' and fire blazes on each heels, just like those comical 50's cars. So cute, if only I could snatch them all ;)

Guccissima

I realized that there are lots of people out there who love Gucci's interlocking G patterns. However, I think I'm not necessarily counted in that group since I love the Guccissima leather better. I just love the way the interlocking G patterns were embossed in the same color so it's more discreet than the usual Gucci monogram.

Here are a few of my favorite picks. I think they all came from various seasons in the past but I just love them and I think they stand the test of time. Oh yeah, mind my pastel color obsession. You've been warned!

And umm, I do find these bags below really amazing. They were not Guccissima leather as I shown you some, above. They're the regular Gucci prints with interlocking G on canvas material. Well I do love it too, probably just because they have a tint of pastel colors. But seriously, they're classic as I know that these bags have been launched for quite a while but still, I saw lots of women still toting these bags. I wish I could snatch them all ;)

SPELL "THE PARADE"

Held a fashion show last night. It was hectic, crazy and full of drama due to certain people. But we managed to pull it off together and it went out smoothly :)

Anyway, it was a final project for fashion marketing project II mashed up with fashion coordination and promotion. We were assigned to held a fashion show, so that was that. It's a group of 6 (my entire class) and we made 12 looks (each students create 2 looks).

And this are my designs, my technical drawing :)

MajorMinor for Brightspot Market

Got my first experience working as a sales girl at Major Minor yesterday. The clothing line was owned by famous local Indonesian designer, Ari Seputra and his wife, Sari Seputra. I actually got the job from the wife, because she's currently my Contemporary History and Style & Trend teacher in Raffles.

SO anyway, I worked at Brightspot at 26th November 2011, on Saturday. It was packed like crazy and so damn hot. Literally hot because the air conditioning was't that working. But it's okay. I had a good experience.

I worked from 11 am to 9 pm. After finishing my working hour, I got to do my shopping at Brightspot. I only bought 2 stuff. A dress by Nikicio and a blouse by Cotton Ink. Damn Happy! :)

Impromptu Date ;)

I was actually lying inside my blanket,BBMed my boyfriend and asked him whether he's free to go out with me or not. This time, our date was totally impromptu. No preparation even to the meeting itself. So, as he said that he's free, I went off to take a shower and dress up. He then picked me up by the time I was ready and we were off to places we never planned.

Places:

1. New Seoul

Our first destination was a Korean Supermarket located in Melawai, called "New Seoul". The supermarket basically offers lots of Korean products though Indonesian products were made available as well. I even saw a Korean detergent with the face of the Korean variety show 'Running Man' 's MC on the packaging. They also have like this little canteen where you can order dishes like jjangmyun or desserts like tteokbokki.

2. Kamome

The second destination was another supermarket next door, a Japanese Supermarket. Similar like New Seoul, Kamome offers lots of Japanese products and Indonesian products as well. They also have a bakery before you enter the supermarket that offers lots of cake, pastry, bread and desserts. The back of the supermarket also had this little food stall where you can buy ready to eat meals such as sushi, bento, onigiri and korokke.

3. Bakmi Gang Kelinci

The third destination was located in Pasar Baroe, Bakmi Gang Kelinci. We had lots of laugh during our meal because the meals that we ordered were totally unexpected, size wise. The portion was totally huge and we weren't able to finish them. I can actually eat all of my noodle but I can't finnish the veggies. While my boyfriend ordered a bihoon which was totally humongous. He barely finished half of it though before he ordered a waiter to wrap it up and took it home. I totally had a fun lunch with you, sayang! :)

4. Pasar Baroe

After we ate, we walked around Pasar Baroe and kinda window-shopped at Toko Populer, it's a vintage handbag shop from a long time ago that carried vintage handbags such as Gucci, Christian Dior and Aigner. We also met our friend, Andy who seemed a bit surprised and inspired to see us, actually dating in Pasar Baroe. Well, that's us :)

5. Ragusa Es Italia

Our final destination before he dropped me off at home was Ragusa! After living 19 years of my life, I finally tasted Ragusa's ice creams! We ordered the Spaghetti I.C. and added another Special Mix :p I have to say, Ragusa ice cream's were really nice and soft, it has that vintage feeling as you scoop a bite into your mouth. My boyfriend tricked me and made me eat a durian flavored ice cream, which was my total dislikes. Grrr, but I love you, still ;)

COCO CHANEL Doll Project

Katerina Stravinsky : "You don't like colour, Mademoiselle Chanel?"

Coco Chanel : "As long as it's black."

I was assigned to make a costume for a Barbie doll by my teacher for my Contemporary History class. The costume can be chosen by ourself as long as it's related to the subject and the period of history that we chose.

Since I chose a costume during the Cold War (1945-1963) era, I chose Coco Chanel as my icon, and made her costume.

Technically, I didn't make the actual garment since we can give them to seamstresses. And the barbie house was also not made entirely by me. I only made the carpet, paint the lining on the wall, paint the furniture and made the photographs. The one who actually hammered and paint the box was my grandpa's employee.

So, to give you more visualization of what I was talking about, here goes :)

So, basically this is the simple house that I made. It was inspired by Chanel's black and white villa in the movie "Coco and Igor."

This is the whole look of the house and the Coco Chanel doll. I was actually extremely proud with my work. It may not be the best, but this is my favorite work up until today :)

The right wall was covered by photographs of Chanel's legacy, muse, products and herself.

The left wall was covered by photographs of the fashion industry during that era, dominated by Christian Dior's "New Look" and Jackie O's historical Chanel Suit.

The back wall was covered by a victorian frame of Coco Chanel's photographs. And look at the rug that I made! It's made out of faux fur, so it's nice to touch that :p

Jakarta Fashion Week 2012

Went to Jakarta Fashion Week 2012 last night. It was located in Fashion Tent, Pacific Place. I actually was only going to watch one show and it's Sebastian Gunawan's Charming Blend Show, I got free ticket from my teacher. However, as I arrived too early at the spot, I was offered another free ticket of Sense by Yasra. Since the show was before Sebastian Gunawan and it's running in the same venue, I accepted it :)

Here are some of the pictures I took. It was in poor quality, since I'm really bad in technology and aren't able to operate my digital camera. I was only using my blackberry camera, so sorry :(

Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 Ready-To-Wear Collection

I was never a big fan of Louis Vuitton, really. But this season, apparently Marc Jacobs has successfully transferred me into my childhood imagination filled with little princesses and unicorns.

Marc Jacobs brought a rather whimsical and fun show than a normal structural one through Louis Vuitton's beautiful carrousel. And boy, it took my breath away.

Without further ado, I present Marc Jacobs' fairytale carrousel for Louis Vuitton!

Not a big fan of this season's Chanel collection. But I love the color palette though..

Lots of shells and pearls, which I love- since the collection was inspired by the ocean life.

And as I was kinda sleepy during the first half, Florence Welch came to the rescue with her beautiful voice! She was inside the shell for 9 minutes, and then popped and sang. What an epic performance.

Victoria by Victoria Beckham Spring-Summer 2012 Collection

Though have just recently gave birth to baby Harper Seven Beckham, that doesn't stop Victoria Beckham from attending her own fashion show during the New York Fashion Week. Though I'm not a big fan of her first line's Spring-Summer 2012 Collection, I am a big fan of her second line's; Victoria by Victoria Beckham.

The clothes are significantly less expensive than those in her signature range—the dresses retail from $450 to $1,250—and the differences only begin there. Whereas the high-end frocks are all about a sexy, hourglass fit, these shifts have a girlier look and a looser, A-line shape, with hems that hit above the knees, "so you can wear them with heels or flats," Beckham said. Colors are peppy (poppy red, royal blue, candy pink), and prints are what the industry calls "conversational": crescent moons and cats.

And here's a few of my personal favorites :)

Victoria also designs an uber cute heels collaborating with Charlotte Olympia. I must say, this pair is one of the must have pairs this season!

And she even designed an adorable dress especially for daughter Harper Seven. She probably used her left over fabrics from her diffusion line. No matter how she made it, I still find it uber cute, especially if you paired it with the mommy :p

Here in Indonesia, weddings are very important and are usually celebrated by throwing big reception parties in a five-stars hotel. Indonesian especially those who resides in Jakarta are very aware of their social status and therefore weddings are nonetheless one of the most important event for them to show off. Weddings have become a big phenomenon here in Jakarta because this is the perfect day for parents of the bride and groom to show their wealth, status and of course, connections. Invitations and guest lists will not only circulate between friends and family but also through the parents' colleague and friends which has nothing to do with the bride and groom.

I, myself really hates this kind of weddings where a sacred and precious moment like this were shared with those who aren't close enough with us. Mind my sarcastic lips, but these people would probably come just to dine and eat those fine gourmet and cuisine that you picked out from lists of top caterers and not cherishing the moment with you.

Therefore, in case I get to be a bride one day, I would like an ideal, demure and simple kind of wedding. My ideal kind of wedding would be those DIY kind of wedding which you can just probably do it with your friends and family. And most important, it has to be low budgeted. I would rather spend my money on honeymoons (yes, with an 's') and furnishings rather on my wedding ;)

My dress, my shoes and my accessories doesn't have to be expensive. And I would rather buy a beautiful and affordable wedding dress which I can keep for years to come rather than renting a pricey one.

My bouquet doesn't have to be expensive, simple flowers in beautiful hues will do!

Simple yet chic table arrangements.

Simple wedding cakes, it doesn't have to be tiered with thousands of layers :)

Cute sweets.

I prefer a short guest list so we can all sit in one table and feel like a family. Even an outdoor kind of dining will do, so everyone is relax and even the groom can wear his shades :)

After waiting for a year, it is finally here!

It's my birthday!

My birthday started out a bit bad because I was sick and I was only laying in bed pretty much the whole time. Then when the clock strikes at 00.00 am, it was starting to pop some goodness. My parents and my sister came into my room and brought me the present that they have bought for me.
And here it is.

It's a custom laptop case! With Marie's face on it! OMG this was such a blessing. My sister drew her face and my dad airbrushed it for me :D I'm a happy girl.

By the morning as I woke up, things got better. And here's why.

My mom got me a Marie birthday cake! Aaaaa, so happy! She ordered it from her friend and it was so beautiful. And for all of you who are wondering how can she make the face so perfect, it is because she digital printed her face on a white chocolate. I never knew that kind of invention existed. Well, it's good to know.

Then I had dinner with my family and my boyfriend at Plaza Indonesia. My grandma also brought me a cake :)

It was one of the best birthday ever. Not only because of Marie who pops out pretty much everywhere, but also because I celebrated with my dearest beau :*

Kaiser Karl for Macy's

Am so damn excited when I heard that Karl Lagerfeld is doing a mass-production collection with Macy's. Though I've seen the sketches a few weeks before, I was still mesmerized by the news and was really hoping that Macy's would open another branch in Asia. LOL.

And this morning Macy's released pictures of the first look on Karl Lagerfeld's collection!

The 2nd Royal Wedding

July 30th 2011 was marked as the second biggest Royal British Wedding in a year. Zara Phillips, the Queen's granddaughter wed long-term beau Mike Tindall.

Her wedding dress would be something what I called as 'nothing special'. Though she looked radiant, but it was not the kind of dress that I would thought of replicating :p

However, fascinators seems to be more fascinating for me. Looking through the guests' choices of attire and accessories just made me smile.
And here's a glimpse of some of my favorites :)

Princess Beatrice
I thought she look beautiful and playful with her matching floral fascinators and skirt and managed to toned it down a bit by wearing nude based colored pumps and clutch.

Princess Eugenie
Also looking mesmerizing just like her sister. Though I would prefer to see her in a few inches longer skirt and a tighter one so she'll look more formal. However, this is a great look, better than her last appearances at the Royal Wedding. Love the hat!

Princess Anne
Mother of the bride wore this interesting attire with matching a fascinator. I just love the way the jacket made her collar, so smart! She looks just like herself.

Queen Elizabeth II
Grandmother of the bride wore this beautiful salem clored attire which matched her brim hat. I just love the way she mixed her whole look with matching color handbag and shoes.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex
One of the best dressed! She looked amazing with her hat. I think the length of the skirt, the size of the hat and the matching colors from head to toe was perfect!

Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton radiates in her structured coat and what appears to look like a pringle hat. Though I was not sure whether I like her hat at the first place or not, I realized it was really beautiful especially when you think of how thin was her hat and how the matching flower pops out behind the hat. Unusual and beautiful. Well done, Kate!

I just painted my nails with these multi pastel colors including pink (which doesn't look like pink in these pictures), lilac, minty green and sky blue. These are four of my most favorite colors. Well, except black and white. I believe I need a little color in my life ;)

Black Swan Window Display

Early morning of the constructing day.

Me and Della : *preparing stuffs*
Stranger : *pass by, see our tutus and screams* Natalie Portman!! Black Swan!! *went away*
Me and Della : *look at each other and scream* YES!!
Stranger : *look back* Accomplished? ;)
Me : Yes! :)

Those little conversation with a stranger totally sent me to heaven. I felt super happy when he screamed by the time he saw our tutus. Felt like 50% of our target was accomplished.

So, for my VM class' final project, we were assigned to make a window display based on a movie which has a relation to fashion.

I was in a group with Della, Vivi, Meilisa, Veny, Naomi and another Gaby. We then picked the psychological-thriller movie, Black Swan.
The process of making everything was insane. And this are how everything were pulled off together :)

Just a week before we launched our window display, we made our Black Swan teaser to create the buzz around Raffles campus. We printed out picture of a bloody feather and put the famous last word of Nina Sayers, "I was perfect." Around the print-out we attached swan feathers to make it more swan-ish :p

So, this is our beloved Black Swan window display. Located on a stage with maroon curtains and golden tassels. On top, we put the theatrical mask of Comedy and Tragedy symbolizing the dual personality of Nina Sayers. And since we were taking inspiration from the last scene of the movie which is the end of the performance, we threw lots of red roses to symbolized the blood. And the best part was that we played Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake song during our VM presentation to add the thrill and chill of passersby.

I have always been an avenger since forever. I always forgive my surroundings’ wrongs but I never forgot about it. Though may not completely seeking vengeance in terms of actions or whatsoever, I think I never really forgive wholeheartedly. Well, I did say that I forgive, at least in front of those who say sorry but then again, I always thought about it for a long time and never really trust that person anymore. I know that I could be thinking too much even for the most unimportant things. It is actually tiring to think more of your surroundings’ faults when you actually didn’t do anything to fix it. I always end up getting more hurt than before and moreover, becoming a more negative person.

But then, my thoughts started to change after a certain important someone remind me that I might never be happy or satisfied with anyone if I keep on doing this. He said to me that no matter how big or how small the faults are, I just have to forgive and never try to think it again and again. And I thought that he’s right. I just have to let go of my beautifully broken past and move on with my life. There’s certainly no need for me to think it over again especially regarding to someone elses’ faults.

So to anyone who are having sleepless nights thinking negatives stuff about your past or simply of your surroundings’ faults, you’re not alone. But I’m sure you’ll be a much more positive and happy person if you would give yourself an endless rest and stop worrying or thinking too much. Just pray for them and pray for your own happiness. Life is too short to be miserable and I believe that every single person have their rights to be happy. It's a matter of choice, to be happy or not to be. I know that I may not be someone who has succeeded in this field or anything, but at least I’m trying to. I want to be a better person for the sake of my loved ones and have a better life.

Southern Belle Spring/Summer'11 Window Display

It was indeed a tiring day today. I made another window display with my mate, Della in our Visual Merchandising Class. This time, we made it for our own 'imaginary' brand, Southern Belle.

For its Spring/Summer Collection, we were taking inspirations from old French Vintage Picnic with a few touch of urban.
And here are some of the pictures. Sorry for the bad images though, it was only taken only from my BB camera :(

Here's the full view of our Window Display :)

Zoom : We used a picket fence to gave a vintage look and an outdoorsy kind of feeling for the window display. We also arranged some leaves (actually the leaves look like those in a vineyard) and some flowers along the fence.

Zoom : On the left side of the window display, we placed my pink flat shoes and Ria's picnic basket filled with my sister's green thermos, my Jane Austen's novels and Lewis Caroll's novels and a bouquet of roses. We also covered mostly everything beneath with Ria's picnic carpet on top of the grasses.

Zoom : On the center, we placed a cup of tea complete with its tea spoon, a small plate of cupcakes and cookie, also accompanied by a small fork, my mom's Emanuel Ungaro's handkerchiefs, a jar of candy and a box with brown ribbon.

Zoom : On the right side of the window display, we placed Ria's vintage floral trunk and filled it with my mom's floral boxes. On top of the floral box, we placed my teddy bear and another floral box. We also placed garments such as my floral dress (with a braided leather belt), my lace&pearl cardigan and my boater hat. Accessories was also shown through my ballet shoes necklace.

My Dream Shabby Chic House

I've been a big fan of Shabby Chic since 7th grade and I've been dreaming of a shabby chic home since forever. Though it is quite impossible to have one if I'm married to someone who is not a big fan of flowers and pastel colors, but hey, it's a dream, it's my dream. If I can't have it, just let me dream it.
So, I was actually doing a research project for my college about shabby chic things and I kinda stumbled upon many pictures which are breathtaking. Then I surf around and kinda make a decision on how my future house gonna look like. Though it's ridiculously embarrassing actually to talk about my dream home, well here's a sneak peak.

I'm trying to be neutral for the bedroom since I'm not going to sleep there alone (if I'm married). I guess white will be pretty neutral rite?

I thought this was such a beautiful bathroom. I would love to soak up in that bath tub for hours. Look at the bubble bath, fluffy!

Though I'm going to be totally devoted and love my future husband dearly, I don't want to share my closet with him. I don't want my belongings to be mixed up with his. And to accommodate all of my clothes, bags and shoes, I need this kind of walk-in-closet :D

midnight cry

I've been crying for the past 3 nights. Though my worries have been haunting me this past week, I guess it reached its point. I don't feel I should keep it to myself anymore and maybe I shall share it to a certain important person. Maybe as the sun rises, I'll have my chance to speak.

As I wrote this entry, I'm hugging my baby so tight. His body is covered in my blanket and I hug him tightly, so tight that every tears that I drop, fell onto his cheek. I've been sleeping this way for the past 3 days. Hugging him so tight and crying myself to sleep. I hope the morning comes faster.

Matthew Williamson Teaser Window Display

So today, in my Visual Merchandising class, we made a little window display for a preferable brand's upcoming store, so yeah it was like a teaser for the shop. My brand is Matthew Williamson. He is best known for his bold colors with ethnic touches such as peacock prints and butterflies.

It was actually a group project of 2 people, and I was damn lucky to be with my mate, Della. She's really helpful in making concepts and of course in shopping :p

Anyway, our inspiration was Matthew Williamson's collection for his collaboration with H&M during Spring/Summer 2009. It was beachy, exotic, youthful and very ethnic.

These are the campaign of Matthew Williamson's H&M 2009 Collection.
It was located by the beach of somewhere exotic and the apparels were very bold in colors and very ethnic with lots of prints and gold accessories.

And this is what the full collection actually looks like. Full of bold colors like fuchsia and electric blue. Full of peacocks and butterflies :)

One of my favorite piece by Matthew Williamson worn by Nicky Hilton, Katy Perry and Mischa Barton.

Zoom : The backdrop was actually photographed by my dad in Belitung and was edited by my sister, Zeph later on. Beautiful and exotic, eh? Thanks a lot daddy and sis! :*

Zoom : At the left side of the table we pour lots of sand to make the beach and we decorate it with seashells and starfish. We also put a purple Wayfarer there to make it more fun and youthful. And to make it more glamorous and ethnic, we placed my mom's Bagteria gold sandals. Thank you mommy! :*

Zoom : Moving to the center of the show, we put a beach dress with peacock prints as a throw to place our treasure chest and gold jewelries.

Zoom : Next, the treasure chest. The chest was stuffed with fuchsia scarf, butterfly print blouse and an electric blue scarf. We placed a 'message in a bottle' kind of bottle to make it more 'treasury', my Britney Spears perfume, both the fuchsia (Fantasy) and the electric blue (Midnight Fantasy) one, and a silver sequin clutch to make it more glamor. On top of the chest, we threw a paisley print beach dress which is very Matthew Williamson, a peacock headband and a stone necklace.

The Royal Wedding

The Royal Wedding was such a fairytale.

The blushing bride Kate Middleton who married Prince William looked stunning and radiant in a very humble and conservative dress.
VIP guests were also looking fab with all of their multi-million dollar hats and fascinators. British fashion shows the perfect marriage between glamor and tradition.

And here's my favorite picks of the day. Enjoy :)

BEST DRESS

5. Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice
Princess Eugenie on the left was wearing Vivienne Westwood blue printed top and sloppy-hemmed skirt ensemble with Phillip Treacy piled-high hat and gold platform pumps. And on the right is Princess Beatrice, wore a beige Valentino couture ensemble with gloves by Cornelia James, Mary Janes and a Phillip Treacy ribbon fascinator. Though many people slams these sisters as worst dresses of the day, I do believe that Princess Beatrice was still looking beautiful and reminds me a lot of GaGa. But not with with Princess Eugenie's.

4. Tara Palmer-Tomkinson
The English socialite was striking head-to-toe in an electric blue dress and matching Philip Treacy fascinator. This is how a fashionista should dress to a wedding!

3. Queen Elizabeth
Come on, who dress fabulously in 85? Well, none other than the Queen herself. The queen brought sunshine in a joyful, bright yellow Angela Kelly ensemble. Queen Elizabeth also accessorized herself with the Queen Mary’s lover’s knot brooch, a perfect accessories for her grandson's wedding.

2. Carole Middleton
If the Queen brought sunshine, then Carole Middleton brought the clean blue sky. The mother of the bride wore Catherine Walker, perhaps in tribute to Princess Diana as she was one of her favorite designers. She looked very humble and chic in an icy blue wool coat over a pale silk dress and matching hat by Jane Corbett.

1. Posh and Becks as a Couple
David was looking undeniably HOT and yummy. He pulled his hair back and was looking very dashing as ever in a Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit with charcoal morning coat, and a top hat as his 'man' accessories. While Victoria was dressed in a fluid draped midnight navy dress of her own design worn with black Christian Louboutin platforms and a Phillip Treacy pillbox fascinator. A perfect way to dress while having a baby-bump.

WORST DRESS

Chelsea Davy
The one and only most unforgivable fashion crime during the Royal Wedding was Chelsea Davy. Prince Harry’s on-and-off girlfriend wore an aqua green, bias reverse satin dress and matching faille silk jacket by Italian designer Alberta Ferretti. The color complimented her hair, eyes, and skin tone beautifully, but not the cutting. Her appearance looks inappropriate and unflattering for a wedding. She could really use a hairstylist to styled her hair. I'm really loathing her 'do it yourself while you're in a hurry' hair buns. And what's with the fascinator? She usually dress well, but not in this IMPORTANT event.

THE BEST ONES!

Maid of Honor Pippa Middleton almost stole the show by wearing Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, just like her sister, and her gown was stunning enough to be a wedding dress itself! This gown is very simple but elegant with a low flutter neckline and tiny buttons all down the back.

I like her more than Chelsea Davy. She should be Prince Harry's princess one day! I would certainly approve her. LOL. Prince Harry himself could not resist a cheeky play for his new sister-in-law's sister, Pippa Middleton, leaning over at the wedding ceremony and whispering: "You do look very beautiful today seriously." What a naughty best man! Good looking though.

The blushing bride, Kate Middleton was breathtaking, stunned in a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown, while Prince William looked dapper and utterly swoon-worthy in uniform. It reminded me of Grace Kelly’s wedding gown. The 1936 Cartier halo tiara was lent to her by Queen Elizabeth, but her diamond drop earrings were wedding present from her parents. William wore a Colonel of the Irish Guards uniform, which features a scarlet red jacket, blue sash from the Order of the Garter, and a forage cap. The Army's honorary Irish Guards position, which he earned in February, is his highest military title. William stood tall and proud in the bright color, but his best accessory was his glowing smile when he finally saw Kate at the altar.

Sarah Burton used hand-cut English lace and French Chantilly lace throughout the bodice and skirt, while the ivory and white satin gazar skirt was designed to emulate a flower.

Kate's second dress was worn during her wedding reception at night. The gown was also designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. It was a strapless white satin gazar evening dress with a circle skirt and diamante embroidered detail round the waist. A chic, fringed white shrug complemented the look, adding fashion-forward dash. The bride's formal hairstyle shifted to throw some dramatic waves in front, framing her face. Very beautiful, Kate!

My 1st Online Shopping Experience

I was also going to purchase this baby from Up, another local shoe store designed by the famous blogger Diana Rikasari, specializing in wedges. But too bad, it was out of stock and I couldn't find any in my size :'(

Anyway, online shopping was really fun, but I find it a bit difficult for my 1st purchase. Thank God my sister was accompanying me and helping me a lot in most of the purchasing steps (she has more experience in online shopping due to her massive consumption of Super Junior's Lightstick -___-).

Does anyone know about Cath Kidston? I'm currently really in love with her.
She's actually a London-based designer which started her business as what she calls a 'glorified junk shop', selling hand-embroidered tea-towels, vintage fabrics and brightly renovated furniture to the yummy mummy set in London's Holland Park. She has sold lots of goods ranging from clothing, bags to home furnishing items. What fascinates me the most was actually their chinas. I'm really into those flowery shabby chic kind of look. So these chinas are just perfect in my eyes.

We were just browsing around and window shopping all day long..
I bought this little bag from Utopia for only IDR 67.000
Cheap, eh?
It's a picture of Karl Lagerfeld with the famous Eiffel Tower, Chanel Classic Flap Bags, Chanel Cap Toes, Chanel Pearl Necklaces and Karl's Fashion Gloves, I guess :p
I was ecstatic when I found this bag.. It's ironic of what fashion is and it's versatile! :)

Went to GI last night with my parents and my sister..

Well, the only reason I wanted to go to GI is because I was curious about a new shoe store called the "Foot Republic". They basically sell wondershoe and robinet shoes. But they also carry a premium line of wondershoe, which is one of my favorite local shoe brand.
The store is located in Level One, GI. A pretty strategic spot, I guess, regarding their markets.
Anyway, I bought this baby and so happy that it's black and white. I really do have to stop my black and white addiction :p

Another thing to be happy about was that I was given a discount voucher to shop on their online store. It was like giving me another excuse to shop :p
So happy..

SeaWorld & Gondola

I woke up pretty early this morning and went straight to grab my telephone to call my college. I was pretty sure that my classes won't start this afternoon. But I'm calling them just to make sure that it'll started tomorrow and not on Monday. After being assured that I have no classes in the afternoon, I sent a bbm to my boyfie to inform him that I'm still on holiday, so we chat a bit and we planned to go to seaworld together :)

I've never been to SeaWorld for ages. So going back to SeaWorld was pretty much an incredible yet nostalgic thing to do. And to be going there with my boyfie sure made everything seems to be more fun and exciting :) SeaWorld was okay, though the ticket was expensive and there were not as many aquariums as I expected, but it was quite nice. I surely had fun, having a date in SeaWorld :)

After going through the exit door, we went to take a ride on a gondola. When I first heard the name 'gondola', I was pretty sure it was those rides that transport you in Venice. But turns out, it's a cable car. Pretty amusing, huh? Well, we went to take that ride and we pretty much just sit inside the cable car that travel across pretty much the entire Ancol. It was kinda scary at the first time due to its rough movement and sounds, but as soon as I'm used to it, its pretty nice :)

I had lots of fun today, thanks to you my dearest :*

my 2011 New Year Resolution :)

So, its the first day of 2011.. I'm making my own list of what am I going to do or well..to achieve this year :) Making a New Year Resolution may sound simple but it actually gave a boost of excitement towards going through the year.. Hehe.. So, here it is..

1. Pray more to God and attend more Sunday mass services :)

2. Be a better daughter and spend more time with my family.

3. Study harder and pay more attention to my college assignments.

4. Be a better girlfriend for my beau.

5. Save more moneys on things which are not necessary.

6. Gain a few more kilograms so I won't look like an anorexic person :p

7. Post stuffs regularly on my blog.

8. Be more nice and positive to everybody.

9. Reduce all the negative stuffs in my mind, heart, soul and lips.

10. Take good care of my health :)

Its only one hour away from new year, people. However, I'm stuck in my bed due to my heavy menstrual cramp.. Damn.. I wish I was outside to see the fireworks.. I love watching fireworks, it lightened my mood :) It would probably be better to watch it with your closed and loved ones, spending new year's eve together with lots of laugh and love. I wish I was watching them with you though :p

Anyway, I can't believe 2010 is almost over. Its been an amazing yet experimental year for me. I've been doing lots of new stuff. Graduating high school and having new life as a college freshmen sure was an awesome experience, I finally feel like I fit in into a school :p Having to have my first boyfriend in my entire life was also mesmerizing. I knew he was a nice guy all along, and he really gave a big impact to my life now. He taught me different things that I never knew. Having someone special in your heart surely means a lot. Even though we're not always in the same page and may come lots of disagreement, we knew deep inside, we care about each other and willing to work things out. I guess that's the most important part :) So dear you, mr.Daddy Koala, thank you so much for filling my 2010 with lots of love. I love you so much :*

Okay, tadi siang gw dan sekeluarga pergi ke PI setelah makan siang bareng di daerah Senopati. Di PI c sebenernya cuman liat2x aja, ga ada tujuan apapun. Begitu naik ke lantai 2, gw ngeliat Charles&Keith. Udah beberapa minggu ini gw menghindari Charles&Keith biar ga ngiler beli sepatu. Terakhir kali ke Charles&Keith sebenernya gw udah mau beli sepatu, tp karena ukurannya ga ada yg cukup kecil buat gw, alhasil dtunda. Tapi setelah lama mikir2x, gw kan punya sepatu udah banyak, masa beli lagi sih? Sayang juga buang2x duit mulu. Tapi ternyata, nyokap gw ngajak masuk Charles&Keith. Alhasil gw pun ikutan masuk. Gw pikir liat2x aja ga ada salahnya lah ya. Tapi ternyata, salah besar. Kadar ngiler gw pun berlipat2x.

Ini sepatu yang paling pertama yang tadinya gw mau beli. Tapi pake ukuran 36 tetep kegedean, jadi kudu nyari yang lebih kecil. Anyway, i love the tweed detailing and the pearl accent on front of the shoe. Very classic, very chic, very chanel :D
Tapi yang ini juga bagus. I have a terrible weakness towards everything black and white. Trus ada pearl nya lagi, so cute.
Dan ternyata ada warna kebalikannya, sama2x black and white. Gw pengen beli dua2xnya tapi kayaknya ga mungkin. Mahal. Tadi nyokap gw udah ngegodain, kalo beli dua, pake nya beda sebelah. LOL.
Eh ternyata ada versi heels nya! Bener2x dah..
Trus warna kebalikan yang versi heel nya juga ada :D
Bingung deh mau milih yg mana ;p

I have nothing to do up until this morning, well it's almost morning.
Then, I suddenly remembered a conversation that I had with my beau last week (13/12/2010)
It was pretty funny for both of us :)

It's twenty already! This is my last day in term 2. After all those endless days and nights of exams and assignments, it's finally here! I'm free! I hope I'm doing well on my school and may get the best result by early January. Christmas and New Year holiday starts today, and I'm pretty much excited about it, considering I might just sleep all day long and not having to think any thing about school. I haven't plan a thing for this holiday though, but it sure nice to just go with the flow, see what will life offers in the near future. Anyway, my boyfie is here, so it's pretty nice as well to see him much more often now than before.

What's your favorite place in the world? Paris? St. Tropez? Capri Island? Cannes? Bali? Or maybe your boyfriend's home? Whatever it is, it must have some reasons behind it, a special story that might just tell the world who you really are deep inside..

My favorite place in the world would be my bedroom, specifically inside my cocoon (translation : my bed, inside a quilted blanket :p) Well, there's nothing special actually with my bed.. Its just an ordinary old single bed with a comfy old blanket, pillows, bolsters and a few cute stuffed animals. Nothing special, nothing extravagant about it. Though seemed to be boring and insignificant, it means the world to me. This is the only place I feel save and secure. Only this bed could make me feel that way. I don't know why this kind of relationship occurs, but I feel like I could rely my bed to ease my pain and insecurity. I'm the kind of girl who cries a lot in her bed, so yeah.. having my bolster in my arms and just crying heavily throughout those gloomy night just like tonight really helps me to get to sleep and feel a little better as I woke up in the morning. My bolster means the universe to me. My bolster is actually always around me as I hang around in my house. I tried to always bring it almost every time I wander. And yes of course, every time I cry, I always hug my bolster so tight. I feel better by hugging my bolster and curling up inside my blanket. Felt like my bolster is the only one in this universe that actually understands me and never hurts or make me cry. Isn't it weird from this profanity, my bolster turns into something sacred all these years?

Anyway, that's my little story.. Sorry about the blab..

Students Orientations

Hi there, it's been long enough since my last blog post.. Lol..
Basically, I'm going to post a little story about my students orientations at Raffles Design Institute.. So, I'm actually not a highschool-er anymore and not an unemployed person either because I'm now tasting college life at the tip of my tongue. Haha..
Jadi, pagi tadi jem stengah 7 gw udah bangun, trus langsung mandi trus breakfast.. Setelah semuanya rapi, gw ama adik gw pun berangkat jem 7.38. Okay, bagi saya yang berdomisili di daerah Kedoya, Jakarta Barat, perjalanan ke RDI di Citywalk Sudirman sangatlah merupakan sebuah perjuangan.. Well, macetnya aja c yg ga nahan.. Sisanya fine fine aja.. Hehe..
Akhirnya kita nyampe jem 9 kurang 15 menitan gt.. Padahal orientasinya mulai jem 9.. Ya lumayan lah at least ga telat d hari orientasi.. Hehe..
Orientasinya baru mulai jem stengah 10 ternyata due to other students yg dtgnya telat.. Murid2 yg udah dtg pada nunggu di suatu ruangan gitu.. Dan didalam ruangan itu bener2 hening mampus bahkan lebih hening dari ruangan UN.. Lol.. All you can hear was only blackberry pings and buzzes.. Lol..
Setelah orientasi, tiap anak2 kayak masuk ke ruangan masing2 sesuai jurusannya.. Kelas gw -sinya cuman 8 orang. 7 of us were all girls and yg satu lagi ga masuk tadi jadi gatau d tuh dy cewe ato cowo.. Hehe.. Di kelas kita kayak ada little introductions dari guru2 jurusan gw ama anak2nya.. Btw, guru gw gaul loh, dy pernah kerja di UK, HK, under big brand names such as Burberry, H&M, Chloe, and Versace.. Lol.. Setelah introductions kita dbagiin timetable untuk trimester ini.. Gw kuliah cuman dari hari Senin ampe Rabu doank.. Sisanya I'm off.. Yay! I do consider that every Thursday till Sunday is a long weekend.. Haha..
So far, I think I'm gonna like this school.. The teachers seems to be fun and my classmates seems to be nice.. I'm just hoping that is true..

I've been addicted to everything Alice in Wonderland since my first year in Junior High School. Things just get better when Tim Burton create an Alice in Wonderland film for Disney.

Have you guys watched the movie? I have. And I watched it during my national exam preparations. LOL. The movie was awesome and it is my favorite movie to date.
Other thing that makes me even more delighted is Kidada Jones designing a jewelry line with the theme Alice in Wonderland under Disney Couture.

I'm finally BACK!!

Yay, I'm finally back on my laptop bwat blogging.. I've been going through a lot of hard times of my life *lebay* which includes lots of try outs, national exams, practical exams and the school exams itself..
But hey, I'm free now.. Well, sorta.. hehe..

So, holiday is coming early for the seniors and I'm listing things I'm planning to do during my holiday.. I'm posting lots of pictures too, biar mendukung.. haha.. Enjoy :)

1. Paint my nails
I might like the idea of getting my nails done but I haven't decided on the colours.. Any ideas?

2. Get a hair cut
Rambut gw udah kepanjangan kata nyokap, so she asked me to chop it off.. Belom nentuin c bakal nurut untuk potong rambut ato tetep manjangin.. I do love my hair though :p

3. Read some books
Yup, menghabiskan novel-novel yang mulai menggunung.. And yes, that is my favorite position to read :)

4. Watch more DVDs
Karena persediaan di rumah sudah menipis, mungkin gw akan nge-stock dulu.. hehe..

5. Gain some weight
Setelah menonton video aerobic gw, gw baru sadar bahwa well..maybe I could use a few more kilos.. hehe..

6. Keep posting more blog entry
aduh coba apple macbook ada warna pink *ga nyambung*

7. Closet Cleaning
Throwing the old stuffs so there's plenty of room for the new one.. hihi..

8. Do some shopping spree :)
Well, kalo lemarinya kosong itu artinya perlu diisi kan? hehe..

9. Cleaning my room
Yeah, nyokap udah teriak-teriak biar gw cepet beresin kamar yang udah kayak kapal pecah pasca ujian-ujian Sekolah..

10. Kelayapan

Karena hari ini hari terakhir di Bali, jadi ada acara bebas dari pagi sampe jem 12.00..
Pagi ini gw, Ika dan Febri bangunnya nggak terlalu pagi dan nggak terburu2.. Kita mandi trus packing bwat pulang..

Abis mandi, c Febri pergi jalan2 sendiri sedangkan gw dan Ika pergi ketemu ama Ivan dan Nyoto u/ mengadakan konferensi terakhir di Bali.. Ya intinya c sebenernya cuman santai2 bareng sambil makan nastar bersama di sebuah tempat strategis yang tidak dapat dsebutkan :p
Sekitar jem 11 an gw ama Ika balik ke kamar bwat naruh koper ke tempat ngumpul abis itu balik ke kamar nonton mtv sambil tidur2an.. Ika ama Febri trus ketiduran.. Dari video Pitbull, the Veronicas ampe akhirnya terakhir nonton video nya Boys Like Girls yang Love Drunk.. Di video yg terakhir ini akhirnya c Ika dan Febri bangun abis ketiduran.. Ga lama gw dtelponin ama c Cecile yang heboh gara2 di bus gw cuman kurang gw doank dan katanya bus nya udah mau jalan.. Alhasil kita pun segera lari2 ke bus.. Sebelumnya c Nyoto juga udh sempet nelpon ke hape ika.. Dan karena Ika sedang tertidur dengan pulasnya, dy tidak mendengar sehingga harus gw yang merogoh2 mencari2 ke dalam tas nya Ika.. Karena nggak ketemu dan ringtone nya juga udh mati yaudah nggak gw cari lagi.. haha :p

Naik bus, kita semua ke Restoran gitu.. Restorannya dibagi dua jadi indoor ama outdoor gitu.. Yang outdoor duduknya d bale2 gitu.. Lucu juga c tempatnya.. Tapi yang agak repot makanannya sempet 'macet' dan gw sempet beberapa kali nggak kebagian makan.. Akhirnya sih berhasil makan nasi ama capcay doank.. Yaudah lah.. Lumayan u/ mengganjal perut..

Abis makan kita langsung dibawa ke airport.. D airport ambil boarding pass, ngumpulin koper trus langsung ruang tunggu.. Kita nunggu sempet lama soalnya pesawatnya sempet delay juga.. Setelah berapa lama kita pun naik pesawat.. Sama kayak pas pergi, isi pesawatnya hectic banget.. Banyak yang jalan2, lari2, teriak2, foto2 brutal.. Nggak nyaman deh pokoknya.. Mau tidur juga susah karena berisik banget *gw ampe setengah berharap pesawatnya jatuh saking keselnya*

Lega juga akhirnya pas landing karena nggak harus berisik2 lagi.. Gw pun nyari koper dan pulang.. hehe.. I'm so glad to be home..
Turns out, kaos yang gw beli di Hard Rock muat dan pas di adik gw.. hehe..
